"Some of my challenges in foster care was moving, getting to know new people and having to leave the people I already knew. But the system taught me that the ones that care are still around and they don’t leave. However, when I emancipated from the system, I really needed more help on how to live on my own because it's hard.

I honestly would tell foster kids to not fight the system. Let the system help you. I have been through so much and I’ve fought the system but I wish I knew then what I know now."
